Empty hands held high, such small sacrifice
If not joined with my life,I sing in vain tonight.
May the words I say,and the things I do
Make my lifesong sing, bring a smile to You.
Let my lifesong sing to You
Let my lifesong sing to You.
I want to sign Your name at the end of this day
Knowing that my heart was true
Let me lifesong sing to you.
Lord,I give my life,a living sacrifice
To reach a world in need,to be Your hands and feet.
So may the words I say,and the things I do
Make my lifesong sing,Bring a smile to You.
Hallelujah,Hallelujuh,Let my lifesong sing to You.

The title of my blog is Lifesong. I want everything I do to point to Christ and His work on the cross....without that, there is no lifesong. I desire to glorify Christ in all I do and say.
Colossians 3:17 And whatever you do in word or deed,do all in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.
Thank you for reading! I hope you will enjoy reading about my life and our journey to Lydia-our daughter in China. I'd love to hear from you,so please comment when you would like to.
May God bless you!
Our 2 youngest children at Destin,Florida.

I am a stay at home mother to 4. I am very blessed to have a godly husband who loves the Lord and his family. I welcome the days of much needed grace, the times of sweet victories, and the tears of trials, knowing it is all for God's glory. I want my lifesong to sing to Him,the author and finisher of my faith. Soli Deo Gloria--To the Glory of God alone.

I am glad that you finally got it to work!
HI Kim,
Well..I'm glad to see that you are finally up and running, even though you had to switch sites.
I love the pic of your two youngest children in Destin! We lived in Fort Walton for a year, before kids, and my hubby worked in Destin.
We went there last year for a few days on his business trip, and hadn't been there in @ 10 yrs. and it had changed so much!
We are going to be DTC hopefully in next couple of weeks, so we aren't far behind you guys.
Take care,
Darlene
Hi Kim
Pretty site - your family is beautiful. My husband and I are adopting our first from China with CCAI and are LID 9/12/06. We are in Atlantic Beach Florida - I see that your photos are from Destin - do you live near there? I have family in Tallahassee. I'll mark your site and feel free to visit ours:

One of my favorite songs of all time . . . Lifesong.
The photos are gorgeous, and I adore that area of beach just about more than any other. Pensacola is another fave.
Looking forward to seeing how God puts His fingerprints all over your journey to adopt Lydia. It has only just begun!
I love that song too!
