Our Weekend
We had a fun weekend! It started Friday night with a suprise birthday party for one of our good friend's father. He turned 70 years old. Do not think old, when you think of 70,though....he is the youngest acting and healthiest 70 year old I have ever seen! And the most positive person we know. We got him a musical card that has *Walking on Sunshine* playing on it when it is opened. It is the perfect theme song for his life! He truly lives out*rejoicing in the Lord*!!! There were people there from allover....people he knew way back taveled to be there! It was a great testimony to his life!

Our weekend was also full of soccer games! The first one,on Saturday, was away and the one on Sunday afternoon was here. Abigail, our 12 year old, plays on a classic soccer team,so we travel all over the state. She is the team's goal keeper. We won both games! Next weekend we will have a tournament with some of the best teams in the state in our age division. It should be fun and good competition! These pics are from the Saturday game. The first pic is Abigail right before she catches a penalty kick to prevent the other team from scoring. That score would have allowed them to tie with us. But,they didn't! Abigail caught it and we won! The other pics are of Jack Henry and his fascination with lawn mowers, tractors, etc. There was a large mower by our soccer field....he just walked around it and touched it....he wanted to ride it. It must be a boy thing!

Have a great Monday everyone!!!

Hi Kim! Me again... great shots of Abbie and way to go on the PK save... those don't happen too often in a goal-keeper's career so I know she and the team (not to mention parents) were excited!!
