Monday Menu Plans

This is an activity filled week for us because it is the one week of the year when basketball and soccer overlap. Abigail made the basketball all star team, which we are happy about, and her classic soccer season has begun, too. So we have a couple of evenings when we will be doubling up on practices. Dinners are still planned, we will see how all of it goes. Some weeks are just like this, you know?
Monday--Comfort Chicken noodle casserole, green peas and carrots, rolls
Tuesday-- See above...reason why we are eating Chick Fil A tonight!
Wednesday--Vegetable beef soup and sandwiches
Thursday--Sour cream chicken enchiladas, refried beans, fresh fruit salad
(strawberries, pineapple, cantaloupe, and grapes)
Friday--Eat dinner at friends' house or if that doesn't work out, shrimp scampi with angel hair pasta, salad, french bread
Saturday--Pizza and salad
Please see Organizing Junkie for more menu ideas! I love the new banner,Laura!
Have a great day!

I am a stay at home mother to 4. I am very blessed to have a godly husband who loves the Lord and his family. I welcome the days of much needed grace, the times of sweet victories, and the tears of trials, knowing it is all for God's glory. I want my lifesong to sing to Him,the author and finisher of my faith. Soli Deo Gloria--To the Glory of God alone.

Sounds like a yummy week! Can't go wrong with Chick Fil A! It's about one of the best fast food places out there, LOL.
Oh, I so understand. Kim's basketball regular season is wrapping up this week while rugby starts. We'll see what happens with playoffs.
Congratulations to Abigail for making the all star team!
I really love watching my kids play basketball. My oldest daughter Amanda played from K-9th grade. This (10th grade) is the first year she isn't playing :( She didn't want to use up academic credits for that two hour block. Anyway, I am thankful for her diligence in school. Emelia (8) played too ... I even coached her team one year, but has gone in the tumbling/gymnastics direction now. Bailey is 13 and is doing track and wrestling... I guess I am going to have to keep getting Izzy better so she can be my little basketball star!
I love chickfilet too! I think we'll have that after leaving horse therapy this afternoon!
Have a great week!

Could you give us the recipe for the Vegtable Beef Soup? I'm always looking for quick and nutrious meals that I can make the family.
We have weeks just like yours. That's when I pray extra hard that no one is sick.
I love your blog.

Congratulations to Abigail!
Even on a busy week, the menu looks great. Chik-Fil-A is always a family favorite for us.
Congrats to Abigail for making the all-star team! How exciting! I have never even heard of Chick a Fil! Must be a U.S. thing.....:-)
Sorry, that last comment was by me. I forgot to write my name....(sheepish grin)

Your menu looks great this week! The sour cream enchilada's sound like the ones I am making - I need to add the beans and fruit to it too!
Congrats to your daughter!
Well you clearly love your kids more than I love mine. I have been really embarassed lately reading these super mom blogs, we seriously hit up fast food at least once a week. It has got to stop. Thanks for the motivation!
Jamie
No matter how busy your week seems, your meals always sound delicious! Have a good week.
Your menu looks yummy! How do you prepare your shrimp scampi??
What's "Comfort Chicken Noodle Casserole?" Sounds like one of those can't-go-too-wrong-with-this dishes...I'd love to see the recipe.
I love chicken noodle casserole--that would be so good right now! Oh--and wish we had a Chick Fil A around here! Your menu looks divine! God bless.
Can you please post the recipe for comfort chicken noodle casserole? Sounds wonderful!
The enchladas sound great!!
We love Chick-fil-a. Honestly, we'd eat there every other day if I had my way! Have a fun week.
