Monday Menu Plans

Well,It is better late than never,I guess. I've had my menu ready to post this morning, but am just now getting around to it!
I hope you enjoyed Gracie's missionary profile below. That is actually a biographical speech she gave last Friday for her homeschool speech class. She has always said she is not a public speaker, but she has done wonderfully in preparing her speeches and from what the teacher says, she has delivered them well, also. I like the motto of the Rebelution blog *Do hard Things*...even when we don't think we can. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. I am always amazed at what the martyrs have gone through and wonder if my faith is anything like that...or would I be like Peter and deny Christ? Christ's strength would have to be my strength if ever faced with such a tragedy. I tremble when I read things like what is below(Gracie's post)...and it bothers me for a long time. I can not imagine having to endure such trials.
So,on a much lighter note: : )
Here is what we are having this week:
Monday-- Chicken Cordon Bleu, broccoli and cauliflower bake, roasted red potatoes, baked carrots
Tuesday--Shake N Bake pork chops,green beans,rice pilaf,honey wheat baguette bread
Wednesday--Sub sandwiches and chips
Thursday--Tacos,black beans,Spanish rice
Friday--Penne Pasta Bake,salad,french bread
Saturday--Vegetable beef soup and cornbread

I am a stay at home mother to 4. I am very blessed to have a godly husband who loves the Lord and his family. I welcome the days of much needed grace, the times of sweet victories, and the tears of trials, knowing it is all for God's glory. I want my lifesong to sing to Him,the author and finisher of my faith. Soli Deo Gloria--To the Glory of God alone.

I just scrolled down to read the post by Gracie...that was wonderful. And I learned a lot, too!
Our homeschool group does book reports where they have to get in front of others and present, and the speech group sounds great, also. She did a great job!
I am going to try one of your recipes later this week! I can't wait!!
I love your Monday menu's!! I'm glad that you share them because they inspire me to not eat out so much!!
Thanks for the menus again! Great speech by Gracie. You know I am all about anything with a Chinese story!! ; )
Anytime I am faced with a 'challenge' I find myself repeating Phil 4:13 in my mind. It always helps and builds up my strength to accomplish anything!
Have a great week.
blessings~
Annie
Your menus always inspire me! Thanks for sharing.

Better late than never is right...I'm of the never category right now. Since it's 9pm Tuesday night, I think I will skip posting a menu this week. Your daughter is gorgeous. You must be so proud her speech.
Kim,
Your menu looks so good!
