Which Princess Will He Choose?
We had some very special visitors at our house recently. Molly is the sweet little blonde in the picture. Her mom, one of my best friends, came by with her two precious baby girls and we got to love on them a little bit! Jayme (Molly's mom) was in a class I taught in our former church years ago...as an 11th and 12th grader! Yes, I was the high school girls Sunday School teacher back then. I was inexperienced as a Bible teacher, young, and very naive to what the girls were faced with in their lives at that time! But, still God had me there for whatever purpose. Jayme was one of the sweetest, most mature in the group and we became lifetime friends during those years. She babysat my children some and spent quite a few afternoons at my house just talking about what was going on in her life.
She left for college and pledged the same sorority that I was in quite a few years before...Kappa Kappa Gamma! I was able to be at her initiation with her mom, which was a delight. Through the years we have stayed close...my 2 older girls were in her wedding as flower girl and Jr. Bridesmaid. She has always included us in her life by consistently sharing big news with us...baby on the way, new house, etc! We have shared many joys along this journey. We don't get to see eachother as often as we would like, but when we do, it is always such a sweet time!
Now, we have children close to the same age...Molly in this picture will be five in January and little Morgan will be one soon. They are precious little girls who are beautiful like their mommy! They are blessed with a loving Christian home!
So, Jayme...this post is for you, my friend...I am so proud of the young woman God has made you to be. You are a blessing to so many, but especially to your children and husband. You have been a great encouragement to me over the years and I treasure our friendship! I know God must have wonderful plans for you and your sweet family! I have prayed for you over the years and will continue to lift you up to the Lord as you mother these sweet gifts from God. It is a privilege to call you friend!

I am a stay at home mother to 4. I am very blessed to have a godly husband who loves the Lord and his family. I welcome the days of much needed grace, the times of sweet victories, and the tears of trials, knowing it is all for God's glory. I want my lifesong to sing to Him,the author and finisher of my faith. Soli Deo Gloria--To the Glory of God alone.

Those friendships that God ordains and then nourishes are the absolute sweetest things!
I miss my girls in their princess dresses!
Kim,
Thank you so much!!! You are so sweet. I wish that we lived closer so that our girls could grow up together. I can't wait until our next visit.
Jayme
What a sweet post!
Kim-
Just thought I would let you know... I really enjoyed reading your posts on healthy cooking! We try to eat healthy much of the time, but have gotten out of the groove lately. I was so glad to get to read all of your great ideas.
I went to Passionate Homemaking (a site I have visited before) and used many of her recipes in planning our weekly menu this week. I feel like I've been spending more than I should on food and that, along with not planning meals that are healthy (or not planning them at all!), have made it necessary for me to step back and reevaluate things. Thank you so much for your posts on this important topic. I appreciate the encouragement!
What sweet times to see people you've known as teens grow up to be God-followers! Thanks for all the food tips, too! ; )
She does sound like a very special friend. That was such a nice post!
I came to your blog via 3 peanuts, maybe?? Your blog is beautiful , btw. :)
What a sweet post to your friend. And the pics of the girls are precious!
I saw you had a couple posts on healthy eating.. we follow a similar game plan here, so I am eager to take a peek at them and look at your links for new recipes!
Thanks for sharin!
:)
Amie
This was so encouraging. To let others see that sowing into the lives of our youth turns out good things! Thank you for sharing this. God is faithful to finish the good works that He has started.
God Bless,
Sonya
