Worthy of Your Time...
If you struggle with your house always being perfectly clean and organized, read this for some encouragement. It was so refreshing to read...and the funny thing is, right after I finished reading it, someone was knocking on our door. It was Mike's cousin and her husband who had to come to our town and just stopped by to say hello and visit with us. I was in my running attire...not showered...and the house, well, let's just say it looked lovingly lived in. I am a perfectionist and struggle with this, knowing that the sin of pride is at the root of it...anyway, I was so happy to see them and I survived! God grows me through these kinds of things!
This one is a clip from Joshua Harris on accepting reproof...excellent.
Principle versus preference...a must read! Very thoughtful and Biblical.
And, last but not least, this is a book we are reading and putting into practice. It is so so good. If you have children it is excellent. It is great for father's to read for their daughter's benefit, but it is also good exhortation on how to raise godly young men. We highly recommend it.

I am a stay at home mother to 4. I am very blessed to have a godly husband who loves the Lord and his family. I welcome the days of much needed grace, the times of sweet victories, and the tears of trials, knowing it is all for God's glory. I want my lifesong to sing to Him,the author and finisher of my faith. Soli Deo Gloria--To the Glory of God alone.

What he MUST be...is truly an amazing book!!
We've gone through this with our Ashley...and with MUCH prayer...God's been faithful.
Oh if we (parents) could truly seek God and teach our children to seek God about their future mates.
Thanks for the encouragement!
I will definitely be looking into "What He Must Be". Sounds like a "must have". ;-)
Kim,
I linked to that same article on my fb page! I found it so encouraging.I also struggle a lot with needing to have my house clean and organized. As I prepare to have my forth child, it was such a good reminder to me to check my motives and heart on why it is so important to me.
sorry, was multi-tasking when I posted and misspelled fourth.;)
Great links Kim. I love SimpleMom's blog, so practical and real.
