Morning Theology
I am so excited about a new book that we are going to read through this year! It is called Big Truths For Young Hearts by Bruce Ware. One of his daughters, Rachel, wanted to name the book *Bedside Theology* because that is what it was--bedside discussions over several of their growing up years. CJ Mahaney says about the book:"Imagine a respected theologian devoting himself to training a new generation of pastors and scholars in the seminary classroom. Now imagine him driving home at night to teach that profound theology in simple terms to his children at their bedsides. Now imagine this father compiling those bedtime conversations into a book available to pastors, parents, and children alike. Imagine no more. My friend Dr. Bruce Ware has done it. "My plan is to read a short section each morning during or after breakfast before we begin our school day...to all of the children...yes, all of them. I think it can be used for all ages. There are many things that young children can understand from it as well as much for my older ones to learn and be reminded of. Also, Mike may use it some for family worship time when he teaches them. I have read through some of it already and it is going to be a treasure.

I am a stay at home mother to 4. I am very blessed to have a godly husband who loves the Lord and his family. I welcome the days of much needed grace, the times of sweet victories, and the tears of trials, knowing it is all for God's glory. I want my lifesong to sing to Him,the author and finisher of my faith. Soli Deo Gloria--To the Glory of God alone.

Oooh! That looks like a good one. Thanks for bringing this one to my attention. :)
I ordered a copy on Monday! Can't wait for it to get here. I heard the Ware's on Revive our Hearts not too long ago and have been itching to get my hands on this book!
We are always looking for a good read. Thanks. We are reading "Do Hard Things" right now. :)
I've heard great things about this one. It's on my wish list.
Thanks, Kim. I'd like to hear your thoughts again when you finish.
This one sounds good. I will look into it. I'm always looking for good devotionals to do with the kids.
