Monday Menus
Shocked? I knew you would be! I have been making out my weekly menus in a meal planning book that I have, but have failed to put them on my blog. I must try to do that again...it always helps me to stay organized and maybe I can share a recipe or two while I am at it!
I hope you had a wonderful Resurrection Sunday. Our was amazing...beginning on Friday night with a very special Good Friday service at our church. We were able to take my mom with us this time and that was nice. I always appreciate the amount of scripture read, the God honoring songs, and taking the Lord's Supper with other believers. The thing I always take away from this evening is this: God's redeeming plan for us came at a great cost...and one we should never take lightly or speak of in a carefree way. Christ's death was one of extreme suffering...but "He poured out His soul to death" willingly....and it pleased the Father to crush Him. It is a time of seriousness, but also great rejoicing, knowing that God's love is so vast and deep that He would give His only Son for me and you. That love is so perfect and divine...something as humans we can not really understand fully. But we can trust in it and give Him our all as a result. I appreciate our pastors so much for making this emphasis and causing our hearts to turn toward what is really important. Why do we drive an hour to our church? I guess this sums it up.

Friday--Blackened Mahi Mahi, roasted asparagus, couscous or brown rice

I am a stay at home mother to 4. I am very blessed to have a godly husband who loves the Lord and his family. I welcome the days of much needed grace, the times of sweet victories, and the tears of trials, knowing it is all for God's glory. I want my lifesong to sing to Him,the author and finisher of my faith. Soli Deo Gloria--To the Glory of God alone.

Yay! I loved seeing this again. :) I will be borrowing a couple meal ideas from you as I always plan for the week on Sun or Mon.
May I ask what notebook you use for your meals? Is it a binder or a book you bought? I currently use some meal plan sheets that I ordered through MomAgenda but I like the idea of keeping them in a book, taking notes on what my family liked or didn't like, etc.
Glad you had a wonderful Easter! We always enjoy our Good Friday service too for the same reasons you mentioned and of course loved having a God-glorifying Easter service also.
Looks very yummy! I keep thinking I need to get back in the habit as well... Hope your family is doing well!
