Monday Menu
I'm going to begin posting our weekly menu on Mondays. I love to plan what meals our family will be having and would love to share recipes with other busy moms. You can go to www.orgjunkie.blogspot.com to see what others are having!

Our menu:

Tonight-Monday- Pot Roast with potatoes and carrots,Dinner Theatre green beans(see recipe below),yeast rolls.

Tuesday-Chicken spaghetti,caesar salad,garlic bread

Wednesday-church night,we eat out

Thursday-Baked Pork Chops,Scalloped potatoes, green peas, and whole wheat rolls

Friday-Probably baked lasagna and cheese bread or eat out pizza.

Saturday-Tacos with all the trimmings,black beans,taco rice,chips,cheese dip

We love these green beans! We always have them at Christmas, but my kids love them so much,I make them alot!

3-4 cans whole green beans(drained)
1/4 stick of butter(must be real butter!)
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 small package toasted slivered almonds
a sprinkle of garlic salt

Microwave the butter and brown sugar until butter is melted, stir to mix,add green beans and almonds. bake in casserole dish on 350 for about 20-30 minutes covered. Delicious!

Have a fun week cooking!

Sounds good. You will have to email me how you do your chicken spaghetti. We have never made that.

Kim,

Those greenbeans sound so good. I can't wait to make them. Did you get to read my long post on the ladybug site about our recipe blog? We have one set up, so you need to post your wonderful recipes there for us all to share.
