A Warning and Monday Menus
First things first:

Romans 16:17-20: I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive. For your obedience is known to all, so that I rejoice over you, but I want you to be wise as to what is good and innocent as to what is evil. The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

Monday--Parmesan crusted Tilapia, roasted asparagus, great northern beans, multi-grain organic loaf

Tuesday--Portabella mushroom and mozzarella cheese stuffed chicken breast, steamed broccoli, fresh garden salad(mixed greens, but mainly spinach) with light Ranch dressing, rosemary and sea salt flat bread

Wednesday--Probably Jason's Deli...the salad bar is great!

Thursday--Whole Wheat thin spaghetti, Italian peppers and mushroom pasta sauce, organic garlic bread drizzled with olive oil

Friday--I may be having one-on-one time with one of my daughters...so a special evening planned. Not sure if it will work out, but I will tell you about it later.

Saturday--Homemade vegetable beef soup or tacos...not sure yet.

I'll say the same thing here that I said on Rob's blog a few days ago:

"All the more reason to take to heart every part of the Word, hide it in our hearts, and pray fervently that God will give us the boldness to share the Good News with the world!

"I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you." Psalm 119:11

"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
II Timothy 2:16-17

"Thomas said to him, "Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?" Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
John 14:5-6"

Your menu is always so original and yummy sounding.

That video is making it's rounds on quite a few blogs. It is scary how many people just jump on the bandwagon because Oprah says it. We must know the Word for ourselves and take God at His Word.

I just today saw this and immediately sent it to my Mom and sister. I have felt the hair stand up on the back of my neck when I've heard Oprah speak of this book-so much so that I've not even pursued finding out exactly what it's all about. Just that still small voice I guess telling me to stay away. After viewing this I knew why!
I agree with Holly- this is one more reason to hide the Word of the Lord in our hearts. It's the only way not to be decieved.

Thank you for standing in the gap and raising the warning through your blog.

I have never liked Oprah, I can think of only one time I saw her show and that was 20 years ago.

I have one powerful weapon, I will pray for her and that God has not given her over to the hardness of her heart and that she will truly come to know that Jesus is the Way the Truth and Life. God's patience means salvation--which comforts me and is something I remind myself of when I hear such things and am so ready for Jesus to return in Glory. I pray for her salvation and those who fall to her lies that they will be saved as well.

Thanks Kim--who knows how many will wake up when they see your post and give their lives to our one and only Savior, Jesus.

Thank you for the verses and video. That is too scary to ignore. I'm going to post those verses and the video on my blog this week too.

How do I upload a video on my blog? I've never done that.
