Monday Menus

Monday--Broiled salmon(with olive oil and old bay seasoning--simple and delicious), roasted asparagus, spinach salad, rosemary olive oil bread, fresh fruit for dessert(pineapple, strawberries, and red grapes)
Tuesday--This yummy slow cooker roast with carrots, roasted new potatoes with a few sprigs of fresh rosemary, leftover rosemary bread
Wednesday--Either Pei Wei or eat at home...we have been trying to cut back on some expenses...if we eat at home...baked potatoes with toppings and salad.
Thursday--Potato crusted cod, seasoned green beans, baked sweet potatoes
Friday and Saturday--Leaving for Youth Spring Retreat...those left at home will do some easy meals like cheese pizzas, sandwiches, lots of fruit and maybe tacos...?

I am a stay at home mother to 4. I am very blessed to have a godly husband who loves the Lord and his family. I welcome the days of much needed grace, the times of sweet victories, and the tears of trials, knowing it is all for God's glory. I want my lifesong to sing to Him,the author and finisher of my faith. Soli Deo Gloria--To the Glory of God alone.

For my pot roast I'll add one envelope of onion soup mix. It really adds that extra flavor to the meat.
mmmm! Sounds great! I add the soup mix also and I also marinade my meat in worchestire sauce overnight. This is great as long as you don't have high blood pressure. The mushroom soup, onion soup and marinade packs a little salt.
Thanks for the recs...but I do not like adding a lot of sodium which those things have...I try to season with things like garlic, onion, fresh herbs, etc. I use the healthy request when I need a soup for a recipe.
MMM...I'll be on the look out for that bread you mentioned. I hope my Albertsons has it!
