I couldn't resist!
I just had to post this excellent short mini sermon by John Piper on Ephesians 1. Especially in light of my friends going to Vietnam on Monday to receive their son...and while our family waits for Lydia. This just encourages my heart!

Hey Kim, I so enjoyed the post (and was convicted) on the BCLR women's blog! I tried to comment, but couldn't find a place. Does the site not allow the ladies to give feedback? Just wondering.....you are doing a great job on that blog and I appreciate your time and effort to it. Thanks! Have a great worship day!

Piper's sermons on adoption are the best I have ever heard anywhere, anytime. God has truly blessed this Church age with him, and our ability to access so many good resources.

Oh Kim, this is a great sermon. Many people don't get it that God calls us to adopt. I get tired sometimes of people saying, "you finally got your little girl." They think the only reason we adopted was to have a little girl after having all boys. I now respond to them by saying, "God blessed me with a little girl after I listened to his call to adopt."
