Some Favorites
Stone Buhr Hot Apple Granola...this is a wonderful hot cereal with cracked wheat, oats, rye, barley, apple bits, raisins, and cinnamon. I add a touch of sugar in the raw and it is delicious!

American Girls Short Stories

Cul De Sac Kids Volumes 1-24...the family has 2 adopted boys from Korea! I have read a few of these to Evie...but now she can read them on her own! (Well, with a little help for some words!)

Summer With The Moody's....a really good read aloud on family life.

A Beka First Grade Readers...these are great supplement readers for beginners.

Triple Leaf Decaf Green Tea...no bitterness at all.

Your Big Backyard for Science with little ones. We have been getting these for a few years now and love reading through them. I keep all of them so we have great science booklets available all the time.

Children's Everyday Bible...a good solid chronological children's story Bible.

Janette Oke's Animal Friends Series. I love the one about Pordy the Porcupine!

These stainless steel strainer bowls as steamer baskets for fresh vegetables.

The Magic Treehouse Series with online tests and certificates to print out! Some of these books may have some questionable topics like evolution...we just avoid those!

The McDougall's Quick and Easy Cookbook.

My 4 year old and I are reading the Kit Books. She got the Ruthie Doll for Christmas and loves the books. I'd already read all of them with the 8 year old so it's fun to do it again. I wasn't sure if her attention would hold for all the pages but we are just plowing away.
American Girl Doll Books are great.
I'll have to check out your other recommendations.

I loved your list. It is always fun to hear what someone else recommends. I purchased the colanders by your recommendation. Thank you!
