Time Away
It will be nice to have a few days staying here and visiting one of our favorite stores. And maybe even getting one of Evie's dolls' hair fixed at the salon. Mike has scheduled a two hour relaxation spa time for me while there, too. That is just like him...to do something special for me on Father's Day weekend. How sweet. I'm really looking forward to it. I think my kids will love the indoor waterpark!

We would really like to visit the Village Church while there, but I don't know if it will work out. We have enjoyed listening to some of Matt Chandler's sermons lately.

The trick will be to stay off my feet as much as possible while trying to get better from my "mystery" running injury. The gym looks great there, but I will not be able to visit it...doctor's orders! I sure miss being active...but the rest time has been good for me. I have been trying to memorize 1st John as our pastor is teaching through that book. I am not about to *waste my injury*, as my friend, Mary Ann, reminded me...it is a time to give thanks, praise Him, and see what He is trying to teach me. More patience, I am guessing. : )

You just definitely visit if you get a chance, and they have several services that span Saturday evening and Sunday. We heard he was here in L'ville, and since my husband and I knew him in college, we wanted to try and get in touch, but had no way of doing so. Enjoy your time in the DFW area!!!

That is so neat you guys are out here too! I'm visiting family in the DFW area. We have also heard that Matt Chandler was great! Dallas and I are actually moving back to Texas at the end of August. I am hoping to get a teaching job and he will be doing just his own business. I'm sure it will be a time that will remind us our dependence must be ONLY on the Lord. I hope you have a wonderful time in Texas!

God Bless you all!
Leigh

E'beth told me Sunday that you guys were going and that Evie was going to the AG store. Have a fun, relaxing time!! I read your running blog to check on you re: your injury. I know it'll be hard to stay off your feet with little people in your house - but I know your big girls will be such a help. Safe travels, friend!
