Happy Birthday to the Man I Married!
It is Mike's birthday today and I hope he has a special day. It will be interesting to see how it all works out...considering that we have a pretty "scheduled out" day. It is not very often that I am able to get together with other women for a lunch out, but today I was blessed to be able to do this...such a sweet time of fellowship and way to celebrate a wonderful sister in Christ. I enjoyed this time so much! Later today we have soccer practice for Abigail and an orchestra practice tonight for Gracie...and somewhere in between I will prepare an easy(but special--thank you Fresh Market!) birthday meal for my sweet, sweet husband and then dinner sometime in between activities. Interesting, busy....but always fun!
I never want to miss an opportunity to tell my husband how much I love him and how much he means to me...God has been so good to me by blessing me with him...God has blessed our relationship greatly and I know that it is a gift from God who is the giver of all good and perfect gifts! Mike is so kind and patient with me...which takes a lot of patience, I'm sure. Even lately I have struggled with how to be the right kind of wife and how to be a blessing to him...some days I feel more like a burden instead of a blessing. I guess you could say I am high maintenance some days and I let sinful thoughts get the best of me and that carries over into our relationship. Thankfully I am married to a godly man who loves me...understands me...and forgives me. I am blessed beyond measure.
Our dinner will consist of:

Spinach salad with berries and raspberry vinaigrette
Parmesan Breaded Tilapia (Fresh Market)
Roasted Asparagus
Brown Rice Pilaf
Garlic Knots
And...a sinfully white cake for dessert with cocoa chai tea.
To My Husband:
Through the years
I've watched you grow in the Lord,
And it has caused me
To grow, too--
In respect...admiration
...and love for you.
I'm praying the Lord will continue
His wonderful work in you...
And carry out every special plan
He has for your life-
A life I am more thankful
For each year!
With All My Love...

Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. Jeremiah 17:7

I am a stay at home mother to 4. I am very blessed to have a godly husband who loves the Lord and his family. I welcome the days of much needed grace, the times of sweet victories, and the tears of trials, knowing it is all for God's glory. I want my lifesong to sing to Him,the author and finisher of my faith. Soli Deo Gloria--To the Glory of God alone.
