My New Place!
Thank you,Susie,at Bluebird blogs for this beautiful design for my blog! I Love it!!! I have absolutely loved working with Susie! She is a joy and so helpful! I highly recommend her if any of you are wanting a customized look for your blog!

This look is perfect for me and my purpose in having a blog. As my scripture verse above says,I desire for everything I do to be for God's glory...exalting Him and His Word. I love Jesus Christ and desire for my lifesong to sing to Him in all that I do....even blogging!

I love old leatherbound books of stories, places, and people from long ago. I think it is so helpful in the christian walk to look back and reflect on the significant events and people of the past. I love seeing the *old ways* of those who lived and died before us--I believe we can all learn a great deal from them. The ancient Words of Scripture are precious to me--they give me life...so,I'd like to invite you all to look back with me. BUT....this blog is also about looking forward to what lies ahead each day and through the years to come....What lies ahead, through God's providence, will take my family and all of us through paths and doors of unknown territory at times. So,as my profile states....I want to welcome the days of much needed grace, the times of sweet victories, and the tears of trials, knowing it is ALL for God's glory. I want my lifesong to sing to Him,the author and finisher of my faith.

To the Glory of God Alone.

Thank you again,Susie!!!! I love it and will look forward to coming here each day.

Please visit back soon...I'm working on pictures of some of our Christmas decorations for Boomama's Tour of Homes. I hope to have them up soon.

It's wonderful, Kim! So inviting and relaxing. I love the stream, reminds me of "streams of living water" and the door is just welcoming. Susie is just great isn't she?

Kim it is soooo beautiful. Susie is so special. I enjoyed having her do mine, and through it all I felt like I made a friend. She always captures the person perfectly, I tell her she has a God given gift !!!

I love your new look. It's so inviting. I'm waiting on a new look from Susie, too. I can't wait.

Also, I loved your idea in a previous post about taking cards sent to your home and praying for those families. We started that tonight. Great idea!

This site is beautiful! I love your pic's and the slide show. I think I'll do the same :) I had a very long (emotional) post that I had written about a week ago that got sucked up into *blog-land* and it kinda dampened my spirits for writing. I hope to rewrite tomorrow morning. Your blog is one that I am blessed by. Thanks for sharing His grace in your life.

Kim,
I surfed in from Works For Me Wednesday. I love your template and I knew it was Susie's work as soon as I saw it - she did mine too!
I hope this doesn't sound like a commercial, but this post sounds much like our family. Our house is full of books, and I have always preferred a sturdy old hardback to a shiny new paperback.
Anyway, it made me think you might appreciate our new little family business: we buy and frame 400 year old Bible pages! It's amazing to be able to touch these, and we consider it a privilege to bring them into the lives and homes of others who feel the same way.
You can find a link on my blog if you're interested.
Even if you're not, I hope you'll come visit so I'll be reminded to come back. I would love to see more of your blog, but I can't trust my memory, you know...
