I have taken a break from the Monday menu's for a few weeks...but,now I am all ready to get going with it again. It feels good to have a plan! Please visit Laura's blog for more yummy menus!

Monday-- Easy Beef Stroganoff with egg noodles, seasoned green beans, french bread, cherry fluff salad(see recipe below)

Tuesday-- Pot Roast with new potatoes and carrots, whole kernel corn, yeast rolls

Wednesday--Eat out/Church night

Thursday--Red beans and rice with smoked sausage, breadsticks, salad

Friday--Crock pot pork chops...this is easy...use about 1 cup barbeque sauce and equal amount of coke(coca-cola)...place pork chops in crock pot with these 2 ingredients...cook on low about 6 hours. It makes a yummy gravy and the pork chops just fall apart. Serve over steamed white rice. I'll also be making a vegetable medley...broccoli,cauliflower,and carrots in a light sauce of olive oil and parmesan cheese.

Saturday--Homemade soup or pizza night. I don't know yet.

Cherry Fluff Salad(from my church cookbook)...this is more like a dessert than a salad...but the kids love it!

1 can cherry pie filling
1 can crushed pineapple,drained
1 can mandarin oranges,drained
1-2 large bananas sliced
1 cup mini marshmallows
1 container cool whip,thawed

Mix the first 5 ingredients, then gently fold in cool whip. Allow to chill for 2 hours before serving.

Coffee, did you say coffee in a pork chop recipe! How exciting. I wonder if that counts towards my 4 cup max. a day. Do ya think?

I need to get back to weekly menu posting, too! It does make life a bit easier.

What delicious meals! I am excited about trying the crock pot pork chops-sounds great AND easy.

In reponse to your comment, I love taco salads, too. I could eat them at least once a week.

Sounds good and I am thinking I should start this post. I usually plan a month in advance, it just works well for me.

Blessings to your day!

That salad recipe looks so gooood! Definitely will have to try that one and since it doesn't require to be cooked I shouldn't flub it up too badly...lol.

Thanks for stopping by. I love that pork chop and coke recipe, but I've never done it in the crock pot. We'll definitely be doing that one soon.

I've seen a lot of pizza this week. It sure is an easy and affordable way to feed a family.
