Healthy Eating
I mentioned to you all in a post recently that I am going to be eating much healthier...I'm really excited about it! I love salads and am looking forward to sharing some of my favorite salad recipes...most of them are very easy, because if I am making one thing for my children, it has to be easy for me to make a separate salad.

So, today while my growing children enjoy chicken tenders, macaroni and cheese, and mandarin oranges....I will be enjoying this:

Fresh Asian Spinach Salad

Fresh spinach leaves (I just pile some in a large salad bowl or plate)

Grilled chicken-about 2 ounces...I buy the Tyson grilled chicken breasts...all ready to just toss into a salad.

About 1/4 to 1/2 cup mandarin oranges, drained of course

Chopped green onion

Chow mein crunchy noodles

Kraft Asian Toasted Sesame dressing

This is so delicious!!!!

Yum! This salad sounds great. I just saw the Asian dressing this morning while I was grocery shopping. It sounds great. I'll have to try it. Thanks for sharing your recipe.

Now that the weather is turning, I love being able to make a big salad, maybe throw in some breadsticks or garlic bread and call it dinner. This one sounds really good.

That sounds really good! I just finished eating a salad for lunch - and with the same intentions as you - eating healthier! Your Asian salad sounds great, I will have to give it a try. I love using spinach in my salads, and I also buy the Tyson grilled chicken - it is so tasty, and easy! Thanks for sharing your recipe!

Oh that sounds wonderful. I'm not normally a salad lover but salads such as these (not your typical lettuce salad) I do so enjoy.

Thanks for sharing it with us. I love how easy it is too. Please continue to share the recipes with us.

Very timely since my oldest teen daughter has asked that we eat more salads!!! I need some "fresh" ideas--Rachel Ray did a Strawberry Jam & Basalmic Vinegar dressing recently that we really like!

This sounds wonderful! It's something unique to take to a barbque or pot luck too.
