Pray for Amy
Amy has received some difficult news and needs our prayers. What a trial...what a show of God's grace and strength! You can read about it here. You can also go here to read my recent thoughts on Amy's beautiful endurance and trust in God.

I am a stay at home mother to 4. I am very blessed to have a godly husband who loves the Lord and his family. I welcome the days of much needed grace, the times of sweet victories, and the tears of trials, knowing it is all for God's glory. I want my lifesong to sing to Him,the author and finisher of my faith. Soli Deo Gloria--To the Glory of God alone.

Oh dear. How devastating. I will pray for her right now.
Wow. I just spent some time reading her blog. My heart goes out to her, and I will hold her up in prayer. She seems to be experiencing the 'Peace that passes all understanding'.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention! Puts things in perspective...will be praying for her and checking in for updates! In Christ, Angela
Kim,
I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. I am so glad to hear she knows the Lord to help her through. I'm sorry to leave an unrelated comment to this post, but I just caught up on your last few posts and thought you might enjoy the website of a friend of mine. She was one of the ones who could not conceive and adopted a PRECIOUS baby girl from China. She and her husband are GRATEFUL for ANYONE who will save a baby's life from there. They wish they could adopt them all and are extactic for any of them to have a Mommy and Daddy. I just thought you might enjoy it since you have such a strong interest. http://babysites.com/sites/chloefaith/ Have a great day!
Kim, You are just so sweet to post this. I read your blog several times a week but I don't think I've commented before. I've been reading Amy's blog for a long while. I cannot tell you how many times I've thought about her sitting at her computer, getting ready to write a title or begin that first sentence. I think of her writing "beginning of the end" or "I've been given 2 months to live". It makes my eyes well with tears. When I struggle, even for a brief moment, to write something I think people will find interesting, or even funny, Amy is never far from my mind. Her faithfulness has really touched me. And I prayer for her daily.
I found her blog through yours and while it is so sad, it is important to be reminded of people who are experiencing extreme trials on this earth. It makes me wonder how my faith would hold up under such duress.
I am not sure how you ever came across Amy's blog. I also find the following blogs sad but inspirational:
especiallyheather.com
ethanpowell.com
These two families could also use the prayers of many!
Thank you for your encouraging words. I enjoy your blog and reading about your family.
Fondly,
Lisa
