A wonderful meeting!
I had the most wonderful evening last night! I was able to have dinner with one of my first blogging friends, Leslie, at Lux Venit. What can I say? She is adorable, sweet, smart, and fun...did I say smart??? She is a doll! We definitely knew we were like minded from our blogs, so I knew in person, we would have a lot in common! Thank you, Leslie, for driving for us to meet! Thanks for missing your beloved football team's opening game and for the time away from your family...and thanks for all the encouragement and edifying fellowship we were able to enjoy! It was sooooo nice to meet you!

I am still having some weird side effects from the steroids, but I was able to sleep last night and feel somewhat better this morning. That medicine is a wonderful drug, but it is also some weird stuff! I have been so jittery and weird feeling, not like myself at all. I probably talked too much with Leslie last night...it was the drugs. HA!

Hopefully, I can get some pictures of Lux venit and I up soon! Stay tuned!

You weren't jittery at all!! You may have felt it, but I didn't notice it. Don't fret about the ballgame! I was able to watch the last half. ;) I certainly don't love it so much that I would pass up the chance to meet you.

I had so much fun, too. I wish we could get together more.

Please tell Mike thanks for me!! I hope he wasn't too taxed after wandering the mall with your little ones. I know they were tired. Glad you were able to sleep!!

First I'm glad to hear you are feeling better with the hives. Hope the jitteryness disappears soon too!

How cool that you got to meet a good blogging friend in real life. I hope one day I can too!

Enjoyed finding your blogs (both this one and the adoption website.) It was nice meeting you in Chick-fil-A in Tupelo. Blessings on your journeys.

Isn't it FUN to meet a blogger in real life?! Our playgroup has been able to meet another group of adoptive mothers with daughters from China who live fairly close and ALL from this blog thing!

Hope you are back to feeling yourself soon!!! ; )
