Teen girls and young women should watch this movie...
Have you ever seen Pamela's Prayer? We have had this movie for a while and I have watched it twice...I have balled my eyes out both times! I watched it with my girls today. Tears and more tears...it is so sweet! It is such a beautiful tool to use when teaching your girls to be pure and wait on the right young man that God has for them.

Please buy this movie and watch it with your daughters. You will not be sorry.

The movie begins when the father and mother find out they are expecting a baby(Pamela) and then the story follows all through Pamela's life until marriage. You will have to overlook the clothing styles...and hairstyles. It takes place from 1969-1991. The story is so sweet. I love how much the father loves his daughter and is so gentle with her, praying with her every night, and showing such patience with her. You can read the review here. It is a must see!

Thank you so much for sharing this. I won't need it for a very long time as my daughter is so young, but I love recommendations like this. I file them away to come back to later when I need them! God bless you! :)

Before I buy this for my niece, does the mother die in this movie?

The mother dies during childbirth...but it just shows them going to the hospital to have the baby, then the father is home alone taking care of the baby. There is one mention of her death later when Pamela tells her friend that her mother dies while giving birth.

Hope that helps.

I had forgotten about this movie. Thanks for the reminder. I remember crying at the end, too.

Thank you. We are always looking for Godly movies that the family can watch for entertainment and also education. They are just so far and few between.
