Just Thinking Out Loud.....
I am enjoying a large cup of this delicious tea this morning as well as spending some time in serious prayer. It is so reassuring that God is completely sovereign! What He brings about to happen in our lives is only by His will...and nothing happens by coincidence. That is extra comforting to me. His plans are not our plans. When we start out on a journey of faith, we don't know His plans (we might think we do and we might feel very strongly that it is His will)...but, His plans may actually be different than what we thought. But, isn't that one of the things that makes the Lord so great and mighty? He sees all, knows all, and rules supremely over all of His creation. He brings about His will for His people and does what is best, right, and perfect...and the result? God is glorified through it all. I am praising the Lord for these truths this morning.

I am a stay at home mother to 4. I am very blessed to have a godly husband who loves the Lord and his family. I welcome the days of much needed grace, the times of sweet victories, and the tears of trials, knowing it is all for God's glory. I want my lifesong to sing to Him,the author and finisher of my faith. Soli Deo Gloria--To the Glory of God alone.

Wonderful post! Isn't it wonderful to know that God is Sovereign in "all" things!
Kim, we are on the same wavelength! I blogged these same thoughts today!
That tea looks yummy, I may have to try it...and, yes, it is wonderful that God is in charge of our plans, however scary that can sometimes feel. God will not make a mistake with my life, I can rest easy in his care.
Definitely a good way to start the day...tea, and the knowledge of God's utter, complete, wonderful sovereignty.
Kim - I tried to email you, but it came back...just wondered if any decisions were made regarding the questions you asked me a while back :)
Thanks for "thinking out loud"...
A perfect post for a turbulent time.
Beautiful post Lisa.
The tea looks so yummy! I'll have to try it.
