Green Smoothie
Recipe for a nutrient dense green smoothie:
1 large handful of Kale...stems and all.
1 banana
1/2 cup of calcium enriched simply orange
Sambazon Acai organic berry puree (1 packet)
some frozen mango
Blend and enjoy!


I am a stay at home mother to 4. I am very blessed to have a godly husband who loves the Lord and his family. I welcome the days of much needed grace,the times of sweet victories,and the tears of trials,knowing it is all for God's glory. I want my lifesong to sing to Him,the author and finisher of my faith. Hi, I tried to make this smoothie today and it came out brown...yuck. I have made them in the past and I have a hard time getting a nice consistent green.I had to add a bunch of frozen blueberries to make it purple as I didn't want to waste all the good ingredients. Do you think I'm doing something wrong to make it turn brown?
I love making green smoothies too, though my recipe is slightly different
2 cups water
2 leaves of raw chard or collards
bit of kale
organic baby spinach (a handful or two
1-2 bananas
1-2 tablespoons agave nectar
frozen mix fruit (peaches, strawberries, blueberries, melon etc).
so yummy!
