Bdabidail is sick
We have one of our children sick, with possibly the flu! Our 12 year old started complaining of a sore throat and chills after dinner tonight. She also said her chest was feeling funny...ewww...that does not sound good. We gave her some meds and sent her to bed. Please pray for us...usually when one of us gets something,we all get it,and it takes a while for it to run its course through 6 people.

Evie has been very disturbed that her big sister is sick. We overheard her praying in the hall behind the kitchen,"Dear God,Pwease help my sister,Bdabidail(this is how she says it),get all bettah soon. In Jesus name,Amen." The she came running in the kitchen with a picture she had made. She said it was a bettah picture for Abigail. It will make her feel bettah,"she said. She asked daddy to take it to her, since she "didn't want to get contagious".

I hope she feels better soon. We have been out of school for the whole week because of the ice and I had 3 of mine at the Drs on Thursday. Two have the bronchitus, cough junk and baby Abigale has a cold. I am hoping Katherine stays well. I hope your Abigail does not have the flu..That sets a family back weeks. Good luck.

How sweet is Evie!
I will pray that it's a quick flu and doesn't spread. My son was the first one in our doctor's office to contract the flu this season (it lingered for about six days). They were able to swab test him for the flu and knew within 5 minutes what is was---that's a new one for us.
Healing prayers to Abigail!

I will pray, Kim. The flu is so miserable.

That prayer of Evie's was precious. If our Heavenly Father hears any prayers at all, it's certainly those of a sweet, innocent child. She's so nice to think of her sister. I love that!

I pray Abigail feels better soon.

I'll be praying, Kim. In the meantime, run to Walmart and get Airborne. It really does help give you an immune system boost. If I remember to give this to my kids right before or right when they start to get something, it usually keeps them from getting it. Also I believe there are some anti-viral prescriptions that can shorten the duration of the flu if taken in the first 24-48 hours.

Oh, I can just see Evie praying for Bdabidail - and can hear her saying that, too - she is so incredibly sweet. I have friends who can testify about Airborne (recommended by a previous commenter). I hope it isn't the flu and I hope Bdabiadail feels better quickly - AND most importantly, that you don't all get it!! We'll definitely be praying for you all.

Praying Bdabidail is better very soon! And that whatever it is ends there.

Evie is an absolute doll. How precious she is.

Hope she is better soon and that it won't spread to all the family.

I think you will really enjoy Loved by Choice too.

I have a sick little one here today too. We won't be going to church today. I don't think we could have anyway though because we got 7 more inches of snow.

Hope everyone there feels better soon!

Oh, boy can I ever sympathize with you! I know what it is like to have it go through ALL of them. I do NOT envy you! But I have to say that Evie's little prayer was adorable. ALMOST worth the sickness. I hope Abdidigal (or however she says it!) gets well soon too! And all of you!

Hi Kim,
Thanks for stopping by and visiting my blog. Your blog is very striking...just beautiful!

I prayed for your little one, and asked the Lord to contain and remove the sickness in Jesus name.

Nice to meet you...blessings!

Thank you. Your words were so kind even though you don't even "know" me. I just love this blog thing when connections like this are made. Funny that you said a prayer for me, because earlier this afternoon I voiced a prayer for "Bdabidail" to heal and for the rest of your family to NOT get it. BTW...the look of your blog is so soothing to me. I love it!
