If you read my post from Saturday, then you know that sickness has hit us. As of Sunday night,Abigail is the only one with it(whatever it may be). She has been running fever non stop. Therefore,I am planning a light week of cooking just in case more get sick. So,if you want to read some real menus...click on over to Laura's place for yummy meal ideas!
Monday--Breaded chicken sandwiches with swiss cheese on Sara Lee wheat buns and the trimmings for sandwiches,Ore Ida crinkle cut french fries, fruit salad
Tuesday--Poppy seed chicken,steamed broccoli,rice,yeast rolls
Wednesday--eat out/church(if everybody is well)
Thursday--Stouffers Lasagna(I told you I was going easy this week!),Caesar salad,cheese bread
Friday--Chicken and veggie stir fry, brown rice
Saturday--Pizza or homemade soup

I am a stay at home mother to 4. I am very blessed to have a godly husband who loves the Lord and his family. I welcome the days of much needed grace, the times of sweet victories, and the tears of trials, knowing it is all for God's glory. I want my lifesong to sing to Him,the author and finisher of my faith. Soli Deo Gloria--To the Glory of God alone.

Hi Kim.
Don't you just love the easy weeks. I think we all need a break from time to time.
Hugs,
Elizabeth
I don't know Kim, that still looks like a pretty good menu to me!
I pray your daughter is feeling better real soon and that it doesn't spread to the rest of your family.
Laura
I hope you all feel better soon. Good luck!
Mmmm, I love stir fry!
When I was sick it was always Sprite with a straw, crackers, and Ramen noodles :)
Stouffer's Lasagna is great!! Hope your daughter feels better soon...
I will be praying for Abigail to heal quickly and to protect the rest of the family!
Hope Abigail is better soon and that you all survive the week.
Some simple, tasty ideas for everyone, there.
Hope you all manage to eat at the Church!
Have a better week.
Your menu still looks great!! Thanks for sharing.
I hope you have a great week, and I hope your little one is feeling better soon!
Your menu looks great. We're having an easy week too. Hope you're all feeling better!
I love Poppy Seed Chicken...I make it quite often..your menu sounds wonderful thanks for sharing it with us.
I pray Abbigal is well soon and no other children fall sick.
Your menu still looks great. Makes me hungry thinking about it.
There is also lots of chicken noodle soup, saltines, and oranges on hand...that is about all she will eat and a few granola bars. Her daddy made her a huge milkshake last night. She liked that!
Thanks for your prayers...she is worse today...I'm not sure what is going on,seems like the flu to me. We may be starting her on antibiotics today just to make sure it is not something bacterial...but,my husband says it is viral.
Awww, hope your little one is feeling better soon! Your menu still looks great!
Sounds delicious anyway, Kim.
I pray no one else in your family comes down with anything.
Wow, I'm impressed! Your "light" menu would be great for us even in a healthy weak. Every time I read your menu plans (and so many of your other posts) I think how blessed your family is. You love them so well.
Praying for bdabidail's (and everyone else's) health!
Prayers for your sick one! If my memory serves me right, it seems like that fever will climb on day 1 & day 2 and peak before it will start to go back down. A full 4-5 days before I remember mine feeling better. That fever makes them more miserable the older they are :(
Your menu sounds great and I would never knock Stouffer's Lasagna! It's yummy :)
I love the easy weeks too, I tend to go through spurts, usually it's more cooking than not though LOL
Hope your daughter feels better soon :)
Great menu nonetheless :)
Hi Kim,
I have never posted on your blog but wanted to let you know how much I enjoy reading it and most of all how much I'm blessed. You have such a beautiful family. I admire the way you are raising your family. I hope I am doing as good a job as you!
Your menu sounds great! I hope and pray that your daughter is feeling better. We've had the "yuckies" around here and it is no fun!
I have also enjoyed reading your adoption site. Our family has truly been blessed by adoption!
God bless.....
Hope everyone is feeling better! It's smart of you to plan an easy week "just in case!"
Oooh! I need to be better at doing this. Lasagna... Yum.
Kim, I'm sorry to hear that Abigail isn't feeling well. I hope she gets better soon!
I like your weekly menu...sounds simple and delicious!
I pray your daughter is feeling better!
