Desiring God Blog!!!
Did you know there is now a Desiring God blog??? I'm so excited about this! They are actually adding sermons from the Pastor's Conference quickly, sow we can listen in,too! There are sermons by John MacArthur,RC Sproul, and others. I don't know about you,but at this point in our lives,we (my husband and I) are seeking Biblically sound sermons, teachings and real Biblical help in our walk with Christ! The fluff stuff is just not appealing or helpful to me....I guess I have had enough of that in my lifetime!

Anyway, when I find something great,I want to pass it on to my blogging friends! Especially something as life changing as God's Word taught accurately. It is,unfortunately, not a common thing in today's world! Go here and take it all in! Thank You,John Piper!!!! I wish there was more time in a day.

I came across this earlier, too, and I share your wish that there were more hours in a day to read/listen/take in all the solid teaching I keep finding.

Thanks for the link, Kim. Our church posts mp3's of our pastor's sermons on the website. He is so good with teaching from the Bible. I've never taken so many notes in all my life. The link is on my sidebar if you ever want to listen to him. He preached all 4 Sundays in January from the 91st Psalm; my daughters were blown away when they realized he was reciting it from memory rather than reading it because he would stop and comment, then pick right back up where he left off. (I don't think those are on the website yet).

I realized today that there are several good (free) podcasts of sermons, too.

My husband and I love John Piper and are so blessed and challenged by how he allows God to direct his preaching...God is using him! I love how he doesn't beat around the bush :) My kind of preaching!
Thanks for the info on the Desiring God blog, my hubbie will be happy to hear of it!
Listening to Piper as I cook in the kitchen is the best! :)

Thank you for passing it on, is'nt that one of the things that life is about? Passing on Knowledge and Good Things to others, it does no good to anyone when you keep everyting to yourself. Thanks Again and God Bless!
