I am shocked!

I am taking a quick break from my sick leave because I just received an email from a sweet friend telling me I have been nominated for 3 categories in the Share the Love Blog Awards. Honestly,I am still so new to blogging,I didn't even know there was such a thing. I am so shocked to be nominated!

The categories that I received a nomination for are best blog design,(which was done by Susie at Bluebird blogs),blogger I'd like to meet in person, and the most thought provoking blog. I really do not know what to say, except thank you! It has really encouraged me on this night when I have 102 degree fever and body aches even in my toes...honestly,though,what a blessing that someone thought of me in this way. I humbly say thank you for encouraging me and for even reading my blog. I'd love to meet you, too!!!

You can go here to view the nominations. Voting will take place February 1-6.

Now,I will continue my short blogging break...I'm off to choke down,I mean, enjoy some cinnamon apple thera flu, which my darling husband picked up for me today.

Thank You Again!

Kim--I'm so happy you stopped by my blog! And now that you've directed me to yours, I see why you were nominated for the blog awards. Your design is beautiful--so peaceful! And I loved your posts--I'll definitely be back! (I'm very curious/interested/intrigued about your upcoming adoption--I'll be anxious to hear all about that!) Blessings!! (and I'll be praying for you all to get better so soon--it's hard to have sick kids but oh so much harder when Mom gets sick, too!)

All three are well deserved, Kim! Your blog is always a calm spot (especially when I read my own!). Knowing Kim "in person" I can testify to those who haven't ever met her...what you read on Kim's blog *is Kim* 100% the way she is in person.
