Whew,it is a busy day!
Hello--I do not know how I am even having time for this post...I'm squeezing it in while the 2 little ones are asleep and the big girls are at Piano. I have to wake the little ones up in a minute and go pick the girls up,so here goes.
Today is an extremely busy day! We had school this morning, which the 2 big ones decided(on their own!) to get up really early to get going with their school,so they would have time for everything else today. Then after they almost finished school,we had a quick lunch, then I took Gracie and Abigail to piano! I actually had to take them this time! Our wonderful piano teacher moved! She used to live right down the street,so the girls could ride the golf cart to piano...it was wonderful!!! Now she has moved down the hill into a small gated neighborhood,so I have to drive. I was so spoiled to the golf cart ride. So,now we have to all pack up and go to piano. While they are there, the little ones have time for a really quick nap...then I will have to go get Gracie and Abigail!
After piano, they(the big ones again) are meeting a few homeschool girls at our special coffee house. It is so neat! It is an old house that has been made into a cool coffee house with old sofas, stone fireplace, wood floors, etc. We love it there! They are just getting together with them for fun! They used to meet once a week for a Bible study, but since things have gotten busier,we have not been able to meet every week.
After the girl time,Gracie goes directly to violin lessons...then we will go home and prepare dinner(the brisket is in the oven!). After dinner,Abigail has basketball practice.
So,it looks like a crazy day,but I would not have it any other way!!!
Thanks for reading!
I'm off!

I am a stay at home mother to 4. I am very blessed to have a godly husband who loves the Lord and his family. I welcome the days of much needed grace, the times of sweet victories, and the tears of trials, knowing it is all for God's glory. I want my lifesong to sing to Him,the author and finisher of my faith. Soli Deo Gloria--To the Glory of God alone.

Wow! I'm tired from just reading that! HA! I know what you mean about not having it any other way -- I agree!

OK~could you email me at
panda-mom@sbcglobal.net
I will email back with questions about homeschool. I believe that the Lord is using you and many others on this cyberspace thing we call blogging to lead us down the path to homeschool. I have done research off and on for a few years, but really have some specific questions that I think you could answer. I understand that you are a busy mom. No rush, just when you can get around to it. Thank you sooooooo much! ; )
Have a fun day.
Kim,
While you are e-mailing panda-mom about homeschooling, I would love to give you my e-mail as well, so that I could ask you some specific questions about starting homeschooling *after* public school. It feels like there aren't very many homeschoolers in that situation.
Your first paragraph that mentioned "waking the little ones" makes me tummy hurt! Sam is past his nap, but I hated having to do that, so I feel your pain.
We have the same crazy runs on Wednesdays (piano then bible study for Hannah and managing to use the piano time for a trip to the post office and Target, then getting Emma & Sam home to Dad for bath & bedtime, then back to bible study to get Hannah)so poor Sam was in and out of the car 8 TIMES yesterday. I try to arrange carpools so that he is not always in that situation but when it is "my" week, we just hunker down and put on our traveling shoes :)
My e-mail is kcvoiles@comcast.net.
Blessings!

Whew let me catch my breath from reading about your busy day! That's a plateful! Hope you have a bit of relaxation time in there tonight!
I typed a long response to you and it disappeared! Oh well. I'll try to post again later. Sounds like you all had a busy but fun day yesterday.
God bless,
Lori
How is basketball going for Abigail? Email me a schedule. I would love to take Riley to a game.
Our days are a lot like that too, busy busy... but fun!
Hope your weekend is full of blessings.
Annie
Sounds like some of our days! Phew! Hope you made it through....:-) It sounds like you have a great support system for homeschooling there! It's great, isn't it?
