Putting You On The Spot
What kind of friend, mother, and wife are you?

Can you answer these questions?

What have you done in the last week or so to encourage someone to be more godly?

What have you done in the last week to lead someone away from godliness?

WHAT questions!
Wouldn't we all be better off if we answered those questions each and every day.....and then repented and asked forgiveness for the second one.....
Much to think about! Thanks Kim!

Good questions! This really made me stop and think. I don't think that I am where I need to be in this area yet. Thank you for encouraging me to be better than I am.

oh...really good questions, sister! Thanks for asking them. Unfortunately the 2nd question was easier to answer than the first : ( May the Lord change that in my life!!!

So, what stirred you to post these?

I am not yet a wife and mother, but I am a daughter and a sister and a friend. I am afraid to ask myself these questions, but I know they are much-needed.

Great questions! I'm afraid I focus on being a good mother and wife far more than I do a good mother or daughter. I'm encouraged!

Thank you for asking these questions. So, does it count for good if I'm some times the kind of wife that is part of my husband's sanctification process? ;)

Yesterday, I was not being gracious or understanding with my husband. I was standing up for my own rights. Then, God's quiet, firm voice of conviction. I agreed with Him and the read your questions this morning. Then I thought about how we are used for sanctification in the lives of others. What I want to be quick to remember is, I will be held accountable for every word and action. Yikes and praise God for His grace and mercy!
