Christmas Joy
I placed this link on my blog last December...because I really like the message a lot. I want to meditate on the scriptures of who Jesus is...especially at Christmas when we celebrate His birth. Please go here to view this short movie. It really causes my heart to worship.
Some words from John MacArthur's Truth for Today:

Some words from John MacArthur's Truth for Today:
For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many. Mark 10:45
Here's a side to the Christmas story that isn't often told: Those soft little hands, fashioned by the Holy Spirit in Mary's womb, were made so that nails might be driven through them...Jesus was born to die. Don't think I'm trying to put a damper on Your Christmas spirit--Far from it--For Jesus' death, though devised and carried out by men with evil intentions, was in no sense a tragedy. In fact, it represents the greatest victory ever.

Merry Christmas From Our Family To Yours! Christmas 2007

I am a stay at home mother to 4. I am very blessed to have a godly husband who loves the Lord and his family. I welcome the days of much needed grace, the times of sweet victories, and the tears of trials, knowing it is all for God's glory. I want my lifesong to sing to Him,the author and finisher of my faith. Soli Deo Gloria--To the Glory of God alone.

A great, and amazing reminder how what Christmas is TRULY about. Thank-you!
What a BEAUTIFUL family picture, you all look so sweet, and, I love your new hair style!!! Very cute.
Kim, I LOVE your family picture! Grant took your card off of the snowman cardholder today and said, "I didn't know those little kids were in Gracie's family!" He must know some of your other kids! It was really cute! Hope you had a day of dwelling on God's goodness to us. I am trying to stay there, but it sure is hard with all of the distractions! Talk to you soon!
Such a beautiful picture! I like your new hair style too.
I will have to watch that movie, thanks.
Number one, great pic.
Number two- I LOVED that quote! Jesus was INDEED born to die.
Merry Christmas, Kim! Your family picture is perfect.
Merry Christmas to you too! What a beautiful picture and keepsake.

Kim,
I was just meditating on that thought about Jesus coming to serve as I wrote about His humility last night. It really does give you something to think about - His obedience even to death on a cross. To God be the Glory! Merry Christmas!

Beautiful picture!! And what a classy card!
Thanks for sharing those words from John MacArthur.
What a lovely family you are inside and out!
Kim, it's our family tradition to read the birth of Jesus in Luke two and then say a small prayer of thanksgiving right before we open our gifts. Inspired by the video you posted, I think we will read that for a change. Example: I read what Jesus is: "THE IMAGE OF GOD REVEALED" and then have my husband or sister read out the supporting verse, Col. 1:15.
God bless you all! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Andrea L.
Beautiful picture! I pray blessings for your family this new year--hope everyone is feeling better.
