Monday--Panko breaded baked chicken breasts, wild rice, sauteed buttered broccoli, salad with baby lettuces and spinach, dried cranberries, chopped walnuts and raspberry vinaigrette dressing. (I love this salad!)
Tuesday--Whole Wheat thin spaghetti with meat sauce(I will be using ground turkey), whole grain loaf maybe prepared like this, garden salad
Wednesday--Pei Wei asian food
Thursday--Lemon garlic salmon, sauteed green beans(with a small amount of butter and small amount of Good Seasons Italian dressing mix-dry), whipped sweet potatoes
Friday--Christmas piano party for oldest children...probably something easy...takeout pizza and salads!
More helpful notes from Martha Peace:
Anxiety is very much a contribution to depression. Anxiety can range from a slight uneasy feeling to a full blown panic attack. The Biblical antidote to fear is trusting God.
Biblical principles regarding fear:
1) Fear keeps us from fulfilling our God-given responsibility. matt 25:24-26
2) Fear may contribute to a person sinning. Gen 26:7(Isaac told King Abimelech that Rebekah was his sister.)
3)Fear can cause us to deny our Lord and His Word. Matt 26:69-70. (Peter denied the Lord)
Biblical solutions to fear:
1)Don't sin and cause yourself to be a hypocrite. Gal 2:12
2)Remind your self of God's Word. Gen 32:7,9
3)Be wise and make responsible decisions. Pro 3:21-26
4)Realize the power of God working in you. 2 Tim 1:7
5)Fear the Lord and delight in His commands. Psalm 112:1
6)Realize that God is with you no matter what. Psalm 23:4
7)Trust God and keep His Word. Psalm 56:4
8)Seek after the Lord. Psalm 34:4
9)Overcome fear with love by focusing outwardly to others instead of being selfishly, inwardly focused. 1 Cor 13:5
As you can see from my post, I learned a lot of helpful Biblical things to practically put into practice with the issues related to what she spoke about. I wanted to pass on what I learned because it may help one of you. I pray it does. If anything, it may cause you to seek the Lord in a more serious way and try to see Him as sovereign over every detail of our lives. Isn't that assuring?

I am a stay at home mother to 4. I am very blessed to have a godly husband who loves the Lord and his family. I welcome the days of much needed grace, the times of sweet victories, and the tears of trials, knowing it is all for God's glory. I want my lifesong to sing to Him,the author and finisher of my faith. Soli Deo Gloria--To the Glory of God alone.

I would LOVE the recipe for your whole grain bread! I have a whole wheat bread, but I never like the way it turns out....it's so DENSE!
Sounds like a good plan for the week!

Thanks for sharing the stuff on anxiety. Very fitting for this time of year and something I could definitely use reminding of.
Kim,
Thank you for sharing all of those notes. They have been very meaningful to read! I appreciate it!
I love reading your menus! How do you bread with panko crumbs. I have heard of that before and I have seen them in the grocery. Do you put anything else with it or just the crumbs? Thanks! ;)
Rats! I was going past the Christian bookstore today, and I told myself there was nothing I needed there. I WISH I had thought of that book!
OK Kim, My Martha Peace book just arrived in the mail. This is the first one of hers for me. You have really built up Martha and her books...so I am really looking forward to it and so far it doesn't look like I will be disappointed. Thanks for all your encouragment to grow.
