Thursday Thankfulness

Thank you, God, for my children.
Help me to know how to:
--Encourage
--Exhort
--Correct
--Reprove
--Serve
--Challenge
--Love
--and Bless them.
Help me to be the kind of mother that brings Glory to You, Lord. Use me in their lives in whatever way brings you the most glory. Amen.
Children are unpredictable. You never know what inconsistency they are going to catch you in next.
F.P. Jones
Isn't that the truth?
Have a wonderful day being thankful!

I am a stay at home mother to 4. I am very blessed to have a godly husband who loves the Lord and his family. I welcome the days of much needed grace, the times of sweet victories, and the tears of trials, knowing it is all for God's glory. I want my lifesong to sing to Him,the author and finisher of my faith. Soli Deo Gloria--To the Glory of God alone.

You kids are all so cute. Your oldest daughter looks a lot like you. I really like your prayer -- that's what it really is all about. It's not always easy being a mother, and I have to remember that God will guide me when I ask for His help.
Thank you, Kim. You always post something to help me refocus on why I do what I do. I pray that I live a consistent life before my children.
OH...SO TRUE!!!! You have absolutely beautiful children, and from the little that I know of you through your blog, I'm sure their outer beauty is only magnified by their inner beauty!
What a GREAT reminder Kim! It's SO vital that we display Christlikeness to our children.
I once hear a quote that said:
"change your conduct, or change your name."
Referring to we either need to ACT Godly, or don't call ourselves Christians.
Very powerful stuff to ponder.
Have a BLESSED Christmas with your beautiful family!
Consistency, yes I needed the reminder. Thanks.
That is a great picture! Just getting my kids to all look in the same direction is such a victory sometimes.
Beautiful picture, Kim. I have a feeling you ARE the kind of mother that brings Glory to the Lord. Your family is precious.
A beautiful family!
Love that quote! Your kids are lovely!

It's a new day! Thank you for the encouragement.
beautiful children. Being a mom, even of a newborn certainly is a sobering reality. I'm so thankful for God's grace and wisdom - I know I can't do this on my own!
Btw, I tagged you for a Christmas meme.
