Happy Thanksgiving!
It has been a wonderful day today! Even though I was cleaning and cooking most of the day....I did find joy in being able to serve my family. It was nice having my parents over to eat with us. Also,my nephew,Jared, came from Kentucky where he is in college. We had a feast of delicious foods, plus a nice time of fellowship. We discussed our blessings and Thanksgiving memories and even recounted the events of the First Thanksgiving. We borrowed Alicia's idea of having leaves made out of colored construction paper laid out on the table with questions that my older 2 girls came up with to help begin conversation about God and His providential blessings in our lives. We also read from our *Valley of Vision* book of Puritan Prayers on praise and thanksgiving.

I'm so happy to be blogging again! I have not been able to log in for 4 days! We figured out it was our Bsafe online filter that was causing the problem. Now,we have that uninstalled....but we want a filter on our computer! We will not have a computer in our home without it. We are going to call them tomorrow and see what we need to do. It has been a rough 4 days....I've have really enjoyed blogging and love my new friends! I thought it was over!!!!(That is just the pessimist in me.) My sweet husband has been so kind to figure out what the problem is(or was)...he has seen how some of you have really blessed and encouraged me and he was determined to get it fixed! Isn't he great?

I hope everyone has had a wonderful day resting in God's goodness and sovereignty.

Glad you're back! Hope you get everything straightened out.

If you can't get a filter, just buy a Mac . . . not many bugs to catch out there for those of us who have them, hee, hee!

So glad you had a wonderful Thanksgiving . . . we did, too.

Thanks for the yummy recipes. I've got one similar to the french toast with cranberries instead of blueberries. Yummy!!

Well, I'm so glad that you figured it out! Wonderful of your hubby to step in for you to get it fixed! Tell him a big thanks from all of us too, 'cause we sure would have missed you if it took awhile.
