I've been tagged 2 times lately,so I will combine them both into one post....I hesitated doing this because I did not want to take the emphasis off of those who need our prayers. So,please continue to pray. I've got Josh's song on autoplay,so maybe that will remind you to pray or look at these sweet people's blogs. If the music bothers you,you can press pause while on my blog.

Now,to my tagging. Just Peachy tagged me on *9 weird things about me*. Daughter of Hope tagged me on *13 things I love about my husband*. This should be fun!

Here goes,ladies:

9 Weird things about me:

--I apply greasy lotion to my feet and hands each night before going to bed.

--I used vicks vaporub under my nose every night for about 20 years before going to bed. This started as a child....I always had a stuffy nose. I have since kicked the habit. My husband is glad.

--I love vegetables,especially spinach,turnip greens,and asparagus...I don't know if that is weird or not.

--I can get easily obsessed about exercising-I have learned to have a balance in this area of my life.

--I love makeup! I love trying new things and get really excited over a new lip gloss!

--I'm very shy in person, especially in groups. I try to talk, but usually stay quiet.

--The weird thing about the previous weird thing is that I can talk in front of people, like teach a bible class for girls or ladies,or teach school(which I did before babies)...this doesn't bother me at all.

--I'm very serious....not a witty or carefree bone in my body. I do enjoy funny people and love to laugh....

--I do not read magazines...I usually detest them(well, except for Family Fun and some home magazines)...but I love catalogs!

Now,to the important stuff....13 things I love about my husband:

--He is frugal...in dental school he had a pair of shoes that he wore out the sole on. He stepped on a sharp stick one day...it went through his shoe and hurt his foot....so he finally broke down and had the shoe resoled. Even today,he goes without so that his children and wife have everything they need and want in some circumstanses.

--He is an excellent manager of money.

--He ALWAYS opens the car door for me and closes it,too....even though we are getting children in and out of the car.

--He is very comitted to me and tells me often.

--He adores his children. He spends lots of extra time with our 2 oldest daughters....praying with them, reading with them, and just talking about life.

--He ALWAYS makes my coffee the night before,so all I have to do is turn it on. Love this!

--He likes to take me out to dinner.

--He prays with me at night.

--He will go on long walks with me,even though it is not his favorite thing to do.

--He wrestles with the children.

--He spends all of his free time with us...even though he loves to play golf, paintball, etc.

--He never complains about anything I do or don't do.

--He is honest, hardworking, diligent, and reliable. Overall,he loves God and lives his life in a way that shows it. I love him!

I tag Kelly,Chris,and Leslie.

Kim,
This was fun to read. And I am with you on the magazine thing. But love catalogs!

You are truly blessed with a Godly husband.

Wonderful couple of meme's and I for one, don't mind at all that you combined them. Spinach yum, but turnip greens, ok that's weird. :v) that said just 'cause I myself don't like them. I can understand the vick's thing. I've had to do that lately.

We have a couple of weird things in common, LOL! #3, #5, #8, and #9. How weird is that?!

Your husband sounds like a wonderful man!

Thanks for tagging me. I'll try to have it up soon, but it may take me a while to think of all these things.

I commented on this post yesterday, but I wanted to add a little note. . .

I read the comment you left on my post about the renovation and in it you mentioned that you are adopting. I just wanted to say, "Hooray" for you!! I LOVE adoption, and I pray that God calls us to do that one day. How precious it is! My big sister (10 years older than me) has 8 children!! She has 4 biological children and 4 adopted children. Their family is a beautiful blend of colors!! She loves and highly recommends adoption!! She says, for her, the experience is so spiritual. Congrats to you all. I will be checking in to read the details and see pics!!

Thanks for tagging me-I love the opportunity to talk about my hubby!

Loved your lists. I guess I am "weird," too! I related to several things on your list.

BTW, I have an 8 year old son and a 5 year old daughter. I homeschooled by son for 2 years and LOVED it. I am working again, so I have not been able to homeschool, but I still order a lot of history, literature, and Bible curriculum that we do at home. My kids are in a private Christian school that lets out at 12:30, so I have the whole afternoon with them. I teach at a Christian university, so my schedule is pretty flexible.

I really enjoy hearing about your adoption story. My husband and I are praying about adopting a couple of children in the future.

I love that part about your husband. He sounds great! I think I might need to do that on my blog too!

Do you mind if I link your blog when I get a chance?

I put the video on my blog as well! Thanks for sharing it.

Thanks for playing along. You and I share some things on both lists. We are both blessed with wonderful husbands.

I love catalogs, too, so this is my favorite time of the year -- yet I don't really enjoy the mounting stack on my coffee table. I need to devote a basket just to catalogs : )
