One sick baby

Greeting on this Lord's Day!

I am home from church this morning taking care of our little buddy! He has the croupy coughing thing....He is so sick....just feels terrible and sounds awful. It sounds like he is really struggling with his breathing. (which scares me). He woke up last night at least 10 times, wheezing, coughing, and crying. It was awful. He wanted his daddy,so daddy did most of the taking care of him. This morning I have gotten him to eat part of a muffin, some blueberries, strawberries and part of a banana. At first he just screamed when I gave him something to eat,but he settled down and actually ate a little. He woke up with fever yesterday morning and we almost cancelled our long planned shopping day(me and big girls),but Mike insisted that he could give him Tyenol just as good as I could. So,we went and when we got home last night, little baby boy was starting to sound funny and when it was bedtime,we knew it was not good. Please pray for him if you get a chance. If this continues today and tonight with no improvement,we will be making a trip to the doctor tomorrow morning. He is in the floor now, playing with some blocks and sounding like a wolf!

Kim: I know you said to ignore this post but I wanted to know how your little guy is doing? Have you dealt with croup before? If you haven't I've got some hints if you'd like. Two of mine went through it big time when they were babes. You can email me through my site if you want.

I will pray for him. It is such a sweet, unique experience to pray for someone you don't know-the bond in Christ with other believers is so special.

Thanks foryour comments on Ginger Plowman's book--loving it. I think I am going to order the Wise Words chart, as well.

He is a little better,I think. Thank you for asking. We have done the cool air thing, that did help some. I was thinking of taking him to the doctor today, but he did better last night....I'm hoping the worse is over.
