Monday Menu Plans

I am feeling somewhat better today. I already had my menu plans done before I got sick, so I decided I should go ahead and put them on my blog. My girls have been helping with the meals, but hopefully I will feel like cooking tonight. I hope you all are having a good and productive week.

Monday--Chicken Fajitas, black beans, fruit

Tuesday--Broiled Tilapia, steamed vegetables, Boboli garlic bread

Wednesday--Depends...possibly eat out

Thursday--Maple Salmon, steamed broccoli, spinach salad with blackberry walnut dressing

Friday--Crab cakes, brown and wild rice, yogurt with fresh strawberries and blueberries

Saturday--Chicken Taco soup, shredded cheese, fat free sour cream, tortilla chips...I use this recipe minus the beer, instead I use chicken broth.

I hope that all of you are well. We are trying to stay clear of it, as well. I hope and pray that we can. I've missed talking to you lately. Have a good Tuesday. Watch the weather today. It is supposed to be great conditions for bad tornadoes according to a friend at a tv station. The meteorologists there have said the conditions are just like 1997 when all of those tornadoes came through AR. Blessings!

I am hoping our family avoids whatever is going around. Our local paper has an article on the front page today about the flu and how bad it is in our town.

Kim,

I hope you feel better soon. Dallas and I have been sick with coughing and fever...just pure yuck...for the past 6 days. This stuff knocks you out. Hopefully we will all be recovered soon.
